The following article contains information to help you easily get started using iWebStreamer. We'll be providing suggestions for the use of both the WebStreamer and the Podcast that you'll find in your iWebStreamer.

Slimline Player

 Extended Player

The Slimline Player and the Extended Player are both available in iWebStreamer in the Webstreamer section. There are several colors to choose from. Notice how the red Slimline Player was placed in a blue table.

The Slimline Player has the capability of having several different audio tracks added. Click on the square button on the left side to begin the audio. This particular example has one audio track installed. It was created so that it will not auto play but will instead be played when you click on the button. Also, it will not auto re-play. Auto play and auto re-play are two options you can choose when you create your own player.

One of the best features of either player is that once you've added the auto generated html to your webpage, audio can then be managed from your control panel administrative suite. You'll be able to alphabetize the audio, move it up or down, delete audio and add additional audio, all from the same area without having to add new code to your webpage.

You can have more than one audio player on a webpage, or place audio players on several webpages within your website.

These webstreamers will work very well for an artist selling their CD where they may want to place 30 second sound bytes of their song on their webpage.

When you initially upload your mp3 audio file, you'll find a simple area where you'll title the audio and add your author information.

Other uses for these webstreamers would be for sermons, business commercials, teaching articles and instructions for your webpage. The possibilities are endless!

Video demos are available to help you get started. To use either of the Web Stream players, see the videos on Getting Started and Web Streams. A frequently asked question section is available here for your convenience.

Podcast

Another section that you'll find in your iWebStreamer is Podcast. It breaks down into two separate categories: itpc and RSS.

An itpc link is going to open up a persons iTunes player that has been installed on their computer. You can use a text link such as: itpc link, or you can use the graphic link like this one

Install iTunes on your computer to see how the links work.

The second category of the Podcast area is the RSS

Perhaps your clients aren't using the iTunes program. RSS would work for them. You can add a link to your webpage such as: RSS Link and provide simple instructions to let your website visitors know to right click on the link, copy and paste into the application they are using for a Podcast. If you prefer using a graphic instead of a link, you'll find this graphic in the Podcast section of your iWebStreamer

The Podcasts will work very well for sermons.

The itpc and RSS links will give your visitors a way to listen to your sermon using a Podcast program.

Website visitors that have browsers capable of adding feeds will also be able to click on your RSS feed and listen through their browser.

iTunes also has a way where you'll be able to submit your RSS link where iTunes visitors can then subscribe to your feed.

Video demos are available to help you get started. To use either of the Podcast links: itpc and/or RSS, see the videos on Getting Started and Podcasting. A frequently asked question section is available here for your convenience.
